Main Stem Music is dedicated to provide the best in music education. In order to learn the most in each class and be successful musicians, students must follow the Code of Conduct
Class Rules:
The #1 rule is always have fun!
Raise your hand if you have a question or comment
Respect the instruments and equipment
Remember to bring you music book and songs to each lesson
No playing on instruments when the teacher is talking
No physical violence- this will not be tolerated!
No cussing or foul language permitted
Always ask your teacher for permission to leave the room or use the restroom
During practice time keep quiet- only whispers allowed
Main Stem Music Discipline Policy:If a student does not obey a teacher or disrupts the class, they will:
1. Receive a verbal warning by the teacher or assistant teacher. 2. Time-out or rewards will be taken away if the student continues. If more than two time-outs are issued in one class, parents/guardian will be notified after class. 3. If disruptions continue, parents/guardian will be given a note. 4. The parents/guardian will be called if the student persistently causes problems and the student will only be able to return to class with one or both parents/guardian present during the class. 5. Finally, if the problem goes on after these warnings, the student will be dismissed from class.
