Main Stem Music (MSM) offers after-school piano classes that are fun and safe. MSM provides all materials including individual pianos, headphones, books, music, and teaching supplies.
Our usual class sessions are 8 weeks long, with a one hour class each week. Young musicians learn from a variety of music styles and popular songs.
MSM recognizes that not only is learning music fun, but it also improves a child's ability to learn. That is why we use specially developed method books geared towards group instruction, to motivate students to continue to learn and explore the musical world.
Every child has a unique passion for music that should be encouraged. Music should not be confined to the 'practice room,' but should be shared and enjoyed!
Each one of our teachers have a passion for music and love sharing it with students. MSM runs background checks on all staff members for safety measures. All teachers have an extensive musical background and are required to demonstrate proficiency on the piano. They are also trained to teach out of MSM's developed curriculum.
